Monitoring impacts of transport schemes
The Urban 360 team have designed and implemented comprehensive monitoring and evaluation schemes to understand the impacts of Low Traffic Neighbourhood and active travel schemes across the UK. We use our extensive experience with different kinds of sensors to procure and install the right ones to measure variables including traffic, active travel, noise and air quality. Since 2020 we have monitored five schemes for local authorities across the UK.
Assessing the impacts of air purification on indoor air quality
The Urban 360 team have designed and implemented schemes to monitor the effects of air purifiers on indoor air quality. We selected indoor and outdoor air quality sensors and air purifiers based on our extensive field experience and scientific testing, pairing them with meteorological sensors to understand indoor and outdoor conditions. Our world leading expertise ensures a scientifically robust standard of work with professional installation and analysis. Our work has formed the basis for UK guidance on air purification in schools.
Monitoring the impact on travel, air quality and wellbeing of major regeneration schemes
The Urban 360 team have worked as part of teams to design and implement monitoring schemes to capture air quality, transport and wellbeing impacts of large scale urban developments. We select and deploy sensors and qualitative data collection techniques to measure the intersections between the environment, health and wellbeing. Our approach is unique in the combination of variables we monitor, and offers integrated insights and evidence concerning the overall impacts of different types of regeneration and design features.
