The Urban 360 team led mixed-methods baseline data collection to understand the self-reported wellbeing, observed wellbeing behaviours and air quality impacts of this large urban regeneration scheme.
Drawing on our research grant experience, we used a highly secure platform to collect survey data with 1,500+ local people and undertook 6,000+ direct behaviour observations, using a digitised version of the valid and reliable MOHAWk tool.
We arranged the instalment and checked the placement of validated traffic, active travel and air quality sensors to capture change in six strategic locations.
Our service continues to manage the entire monitoring process for the Joint Venture between Argent Related and the London Borough of Barnet. We worked with the local community on the research design and worked with a graphics team to produce an engaging findings report.
The work has been identified by the UK Green Building Council, Urban Land Institute and the United Nations as best practice and nominated for a Social Value award.
